A dedicated data scientist, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who has a deep seated passion for harnessing the power of data in creative and meaningful ways. In addition to a Masters in Computer Science, I've been able to explore my keen interest in the realm of data science through impactful and innovative projects.
Visualized and analyzed animal rights across 67 countries utilizing various indicators such as meat consumption and recognition of animal sentience and suffering. Developed dashboards in Google Looker Studio and Tableau with similar functionality across both platforms.
Created a Power BI dashboard exploring a dataset consisting of transactions from various stores across the country. Looked into KPIs such as revenue, profit, best performing products and created extensive visualizations depicting various insights and trends.
Utilized Power BI to analyze a dataset consisting of survey responses of 600+ data professionals based on various factors such as salary, industry, transition into data and so on. Developed a comprehensive dashboard showcasing diverse trends and metrics concerning the data field.
Created a dashboard on MS Excel to analyze and visualize bike sales from various regions based on diverse attributes such as income, occupation type and age group. Cleaned and transformed the dataset on Excel, while utilizing pivot tables for the visualizations.
Web Application on Python with Streamlit that can answer user questions based on documents (pdf and docx) uploaded to the application using LangChain and OpenAI. FAISS (Facebook AI Similarity Search) is used to store embeddings and search the embeddings to retrieve content based on the question being asked. docx2python and PyPDF2 are used for file text extraction.
Web Application on Python with Streamlit that can translate large amounts of text into concise and easily comprehensible points using LangChain and OpenAI. The summary can be translated into 200+ languages with deep-translator while text-to-speech can be generated for over 50 languages with gTTS.
Conducted in-depth COVID-19 data analysis, transforming raw data into insights using SQL and presented a dynamic Tableau dashboard. Highlights include visualizing hospitalization trends, global infection rates, and identifying countries with the highest fatality rates.
